Meet The Face Behind Vic Lehan & Associates
I’m Vic Lehan, the proud owner of Vic Lehan & Associates, Mortgage Architects.
I started my financial career training as a sales rep for a major Mutual Fund company. After my brother-in-law, who was an experienced mortgage agent, introduced me to the profession there was no looking back. I started training as a broker in 1998.
Over the past twenty-one years, there have been many significant industry trends. The main one being that the number of lenders has exponentially grown and people started moving away from the big banks after realizing there are more mortgage options elsewhere.
It has been exciting to help home buyers make the most significant investment of their lives, especially first-time buyers and new Canadians. My business philosophy is to take the time to educate clients so they understand mortgages thoroughly and can make an informed decision.
My associates and I provide honest feedback so that clients know if they qualify for a mortgage and have a realistic idea of the size of the mortgage they can expect when they leave my office. I also make myself available to answer their concerns so that If they don’t qualify right away they will know what they have to do to improve their application.
My commitment to top of the line customer service has created hundreds of success stories over the years. An incident that happened a few years ago was particularly satisfying.
A couple, who had been renting for years, believed that they didn’t have a chance of purchasing a home. However, I looked at their paperwork and recognized an innovative opportunity with one of my lenders. They were thrilled to stop renting and have been owners for several years now.
When I am not securing mortgages and my wife is not running her flower shop we play the game of Bocce at the local Italian club. We also make wine, sausage, and tomato sauce and I have been working on my family tree for the last couple of years as well. It has been fascinating to look back and document the path of my ancestors.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as a mortgage agent anywhere in Ontario, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at www.viclehan.ca.
Sincerely,
Vic
